About the Process

CTR operates with a structured workflow so clients know exactly what to expect from start to finish.


Step 1: Request a quote or repair intake

Clients begin by submitting the intake form. Remote estimates are based on your description and photos. Local drop-off is available by appointment.

Step 2: Preliminary estimate

CTR may provide a preliminary range. This prevents unnecessary shipping and reduces surprises.

Step 3: Shipping your device to CTR

  • Customers are responsible for inbound shipping costs.
  • All shipments must include tracking.
  • Return shipping is handled after service is completed.

Step 4: Packaging instructions

  • Power off the device completely.
  • Wrap the device securely in bubble wrap or protective material.
  • Use a rigid box with adequate internal padding.
  • Do not ship in envelopes or soft mailers.
  • Remove SIM cards and personal accessories.

Combat Tech Repair is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.

Step 5: Diagnostic and inspection

  • Upon arrival, the device is logged and documented.
  • Diagnostics are performed to confirm the issue and scope.
  • You receive a final confirmed quote.
  • No work proceeds without your approval.

Step 6: Repair authorization and payment

  • No parts are ordered and no service begins without approval.
  • If additional issues are discovered, you will be contacted before proceeding.

Step 7: Repair and quality control

  • Repairs are performed within defined scope.
  • Functional testing after service.
  • Final inspection to confirm expected operation.

Step 8: Return shipping or local pickup

  • Devices are packaged securely and returned with tracked shipping.
  • Local pickup is available by appointment.

Turnaround time

Turnaround depends on repair type and parts availability.

  • Simple service: 1–3 business days
  • Parts-dependent: 3–7 business days
